Say the number
Every report leads with the number that matters, even when it is bad. Practices do not need encouragement, they need information.
About us
Stat Physician was built by people who have run practice billing offices, sat through credentialing committee meetings, negotiated supply contracts and taken a practice to market. We do the work rather than recommending it.
Our story
We started in 2016 with a single multi-provider primary care group that had a billing backlog nobody could get through. The fix was not software and it was not a new billing company — it was a small group of people who knew the payers, knew the coding rules and were accountable for the number.
That is still the model. One operations hub with the disciplines that practices actually need: revenue cycle, coding, credentialing, compliance, people, supplies and — when the time comes — the transaction itself. Each discipline is staffed by specialists, and every client gets one person who owns the whole relationship.
We do not sell software, we do not take vendor commissions, and we do not pretend that a dashboard solves a capacity problem. We measure, we staff, and we report.

How we operate
Every report leads with the number that matters, even when it is bad. Practices do not need encouragement, they need information.
You get a named account manager who owns the outcome across every service you buy. Not a ticket queue, not a rotating cast.
We adapt to your EHR, your PM system, your phone numbers and your payer quirks. Changing your software should never be the price of better operations.
Every coding decision, denial appeal and audit finding has a documented rationale you can produce on request — years later if needed.
No vendor commissions, no undisclosed referral fees, no equity in your practice. Our advice is the product.
If we are not the right fit, you get every work queue, policy document and workpaper in a standard format, and we help with the handover.
The team
Certified coders, payer specialists and A/R analysts — the largest part of the business, and the part practices feel first.
Certified auditors and compliance professionals who review coding, documentation and program integrity against the rules payers actually enforce.
HR, recruiting, procurement and practice management specialists who run the non-clinical business of a medical practice.
Valuation, brokerage and transition specialists who have closed practice transactions across multiple specialties and buyer types.
EHR implementation, interoperability and automation engineers — vendor-neutral, and never paid by a software company.
Your named account manager and their lead, accountable for the whole engagement and for the monthly report you read.
Leadership profiles and references available on request during an engagement discussion.
Every conversation starts with an operations lead who has run billing, credentialing or procurement themselves. Bring a question and we will answer it before we pitch anything.
A 30-minute call with an operations lead. No obligation, no sales sequence, and we will say so if you do not need us.
