Medical Supplies & Equipment Procurement

Supplies are your second or third largest expense and the least examined. We benchmark every line, consolidate your buying, and stop the waste that never shows up in a budget.

12–28%

Typical supply cost reduction

Achieved through contract alignment, standardisation and waste control.

1,900+

SKUs benchmarked

Exam room, injectables, PPE, sutures, lab and office consumables.

< 1%

Stock-out rate

Par levels set from actual usage, reviewed monthly.

The problem

Buy better, stock less, waste nothing.

Most practices buy supplies from whichever rep called most recently. The result is duplicated SKUs, expired injectables, glove sizes nobody uses, and a per-unit price that is 20% above what the practice next door pays for the identical product.

We benchmark your entire supply spend against group purchasing contracts and national pricing, standardise your formulary to clinically equivalent products, and set par levels based on your real usage. Then we manage reordering so you are neither out of stock nor sitting on a closet full of expiring inventory.

For practices buying equipment — exam tables, ultrasound, autoclaves, ECG, infusion chairs — we scope the requirement, run the quotes, negotiate the service contract, and manage delivery, installation and staff training.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do we have to switch distributors?
Usually not. Most of the savings come from contract alignment, SKU standardisation and waste reduction rather than from changing who delivers the boxes. If your distributor's pricing is genuinely uncompetitive we will show you the comparison and let you decide.
How does savings-share pricing work?
We benchmark your current unit costs, agree a baseline, and share in the verified difference for an agreed period — typically 50/50 for the first 24 months. If there is no savings, you owe us nothing beyond the baseline report.
Will you change the products our clinicians use?
Only with clinical sign-off, and only for genuinely equivalent products. Where a product matters to a procedure or to patient preference, it stays — we find the savings elsewhere.
Can you handle pharmaceuticals and vaccines?
Yes, including cold-chain logistics, temperature monitoring documentation, expiry management and DSCSA transaction records. For controlled substances we work within your DEA registration and state requirements.
What about equipment financing?
We model purchase versus lease versus per-use arrangements, including service contracts and consumables, so you can see the true five-year cost rather than the sticker price.
